Worthington Hills Country Club championship course never plays the same way twice!
The first time you step on the course you will feel the way golf was meant to be. It's not magic…it is maturity. Our full lush trees and the most notorious greens in Central Ohio have the distinct advantage of time.
The championship, par 71 course at Worthington Hills was designed by PGA Professional, Charlie Lorms and includes many similar characteristics of a Donald Ross course. The course has a classic style that you will not find at most newer courses. Special contouring of the mounds and bunkers and the retaining wall around the water hazard on our signature 2nd hole have added to the beauty and challenge of this course. Over the past five-years, the golf course master plan project has been completed and included renovations to our tees, bunkers, and driving range.
Along with the golf course, we also have an indoor learning center. It is equipped with a Trackman Simulator. During the winter we have men and women leagues, and offer private lessons. Even though you can not be on the course, you can still play.
Our greens set us apart. Impeccable grooming and well-designed slopes create greens that break so subtly you may not even notice it, but your ball will. The greens play extremely fast, comparable to championship courses around the world. It takes a precise putt and a steady hand to master these greens. With a different pin placement every day, you will never play the same course twice.
Like most activities at Worthington Hills Country Club, golfing is a family affair. Each season, we host a variety of men's, women's, couples' and junior tournaments. Our staff of golf professionals has helped to cultivate many fine junior golfers including numerous college scholarship recipients.
